Attention Teen Writers - Get Your Book Published for Free with the Help of Sigma's Bookshelf
Sigma's Bookshelf, a publishing company started by a 15-year-old Minnetonka teen, has secured fiscal sponsorship. The service is now free.

Sigma's Bookshelf, which is believed to be the first book publishing company exclusively for teenage authors, just secured fiscal sponsorship from Springboard for the Arts, qualifying the company to pursue grant
money. This means the service will now be free for talented teen writers who want to get their books published.
The company was launched in Oct. 2016 by 15-year-old Justin M. Anderson of Minnetonka, Minn. He is a sophomore at Wayzata High School. Anderson came up with the idea after the publication of his debut book, Saving Stripes: A Kitty's Story, got him a lot of attention, and he wanted to help other teen authors enjoy publishing success as well.
Anderson's book tells the story of the cat rescue he was involved in. To date, the book has sold more than 200 copies, and helped raised thousands of dollars for S.O.S. Rescue Relief, Inc., of Plymouth, the nonprofit that helped with the rescue.

Teen authors whose books are accepted for publication will get their books published for free, receive royalties for books sold online, and be able to secure printed copies at a discounted price.
