Cities 97 Sampler on Sale Thursday at Target

Are you a Cities 97 music fan?

The radio station's popular sampler goes on sale at 8 a.m. at Twin Cities Target stores. Each store receives a limited number of copies out of the 40,000 total produced, and shoppers have been known to line up at the store for the occasion.

For it's 25th edition, the Cities 97 Sampler expands to two CDs. Each copy is priced at $32.97. The sale is expected to raise $1.2 million for Minnesota charities. 

Acts included on the sampler are Matchbox Twenty, Tristan Prettyman, Ed Sheeran, Matt Nathanson, Kopecky Family Band, Phillip Phillips, Vicci Martinez, Amos Lee, and Fitz and the Tantrums.

Target stores in Minnetonka are located on Highway 7/County Road 101 and near Ridgedale Mall.
