‘Dangerous’ Man On Run After Kidnapping Ex-Girlfriend: Cops
Kahon Douglas held Nicole Smith at gunpoint in Minnetonka before he fled Thursday, according to police.

MINNETONKA, MN — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a “dangerous” man who they say is on the run after kidnapping his ex-girlfriend in Minnetonka Thursday. Kahon Douglas was witnessed taking Nicole Smith at gunpoint just before 4 p.m. near the 10300 block of Bren Road, according to authorities.
“Douglas is considered dangerous and he should not be approached,” Minnetonka police advised in a statement.
Douglas is likely armed, police said. Investigators believe he fled the scene in a gray or silver Pontiac Grand Prix. The car has a rear spoiler and one burned out headlight.
