Dr. Bryan Nestor Joins Summit Orthopedics
Prominent NY knee and hip surgeon is now working at Summit Orthopedics Plymouth location.

Bryan Nestor, MD has joined Summit Orthopedics as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee preservation and restoration. Dr. Nestor, who spent the last 22 years at New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery, joins Summit on the heels of its Vadnais Heights Surgery Center becoming one of just two ambulatory surgery centers in the country to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement.
Dr. Nestor brings tremendous credentials to Summit’s already highly regarded surgical team. He graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and then completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. He completed his Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, where he then began his esteemed career.

Berry added that Nestor is recognized as a leader in hip and knee arthritis care, providing both extraordinary joint preservation care to help delay the onset of degenerative arthritis in his patients and total joint restoration when surgery is required.

Dr. Nestor, who will be primarily based out of Summit’s Eagan and Plymouth locations, is certified by the American Board of Othopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Othopaedic Surgeons, the Orthopaedic Research Society, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Association, and the Eastern Orthopaedic Association.
