Ballot drop-off

  • Absentee voting
    • Drop off your ballot at the Minnetonka Community Center (lower level) during the following times. We anticipate longer lines and wait times in the days leading up to the election.
      • Friday, Oct. 30 – 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
      • Saturday, Oct. 31 – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
      • Monday, Nov. 2 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Election Day
    • On Election Day, return mail-in ballots only at city hall by 3 p.m., do not bring them to your polling location.

Vote in person

  • If you received a mail-in absentee ballot, you can still vote absentee in person at the Community Center Friday, Saturday or Monday, or at your polling place on Election Day.
  • Please be aware we’ll need extra time to process your vote.

Federal court ruling

Thursday evening, a federal appeals court ruled ballots received after 8 p.m. on Election Day must be set aside and could face legal challenges that may prevent them from being counted. Previously, the state said ballots postmarked by Election Day and received by Nov. 10 would be counted. Learn more.
