Minnetonka High School junior Joey Richards is making his third straight trip to the Class AA Individual State Tennis Meet. He defeated Mason Bultje, of Mankato East, 7-6, 6-4 to advance to state.
The Class AA State Tennis Tournament is June 4-7 at the Baseline Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.

The Minnetonka Boys Tennis team clinched its first section title since 2007. The team defeated Shakopee 7-0 to win the Section 2AAA finals. State tournament play begins June 4.Â
