MN Man Dies Trying To Cross Interstate 494 Early Friday
After crashing, a man exited his vehicle and attempted to cross the northbound lanes of I-494, where he was fatally struck.
MINNETONKA, MN — One man is dead after a two-car crash on Interstate 494 in the west metro early Friday. A 2006 Ford F150 Truck was traveling north on I-494 at 1:15 a.m. Friday when it went off road to the right and rolled.
The driver of the Ford F15, Jeremy Daniel Larson, 31, of Sartell, exited the vehicle and attempted to cross the northbound lanes of I-494 where he was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Impala. The impact caused fatal injuries to Larson, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The driver of the Chevrolet Impala, Clarence William Wright, of Maple Grove, was transported to North Memorial Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Road conditions were reportedly dry at the time of the crash. The Minnetonka Police Department assisted in responding to the incident.
