Minnetonka Library To Reopen Tues, Nov. 12 At Noon

Following a three-month closure for site work, Minnetonka Library will reopen next month.

Following a three-month closure for site work, Minnetonka Library will reopen Tuesday, November 12. The library will be open from noon-8 p.m. that day as regular hours resume.

The following work was completed during the building preservation and maintenance project this fall:

  • Installation of stormwater management system
  • Replacement of metal roof and roof deck above front entrance
  • Removal of buckthorn and dying or dead trees
  • Minor parking lot improvements

Landscaping will be installed in spring 2020, as rain delays prevented planting prior to recommended last dates for trees, perennials and sod.

Patrons with unfilled holds placed before the library closed will see the pickup location change back to Minnetonka automatically. To change the pickup location of other holds, see the Borrowing page or ask staff to change your pickup location for you.
