Minnetonka Reaches Highest ‘Green Step’

The City of Minnetonka was recently recognized for advancing to the highest level, Step 5, in the Minnesota GreenStep Cities program. The voluntary program helps cities achieve sustainability and quality-of-life goals.

Step 5 cities have demonstrated improved sustainability metrics in categories such as buildings, lighting, transportation, renewable energy and environmental management. Minnetonka is one of just 20 communities in Minnesota to reach the highest step.
