Garlic mustard impacts every corner of the city, and Minnetonka’s Natural Resources division leads the effort to control its spread. Residents can help by learning the most effective ways to control garlic mustard and restore their property. The city’s annual garlic mustard workshops are led by city restoration specialist Janet Van Sloun, who is considered one of Minnesota’s top experts on garlic mustard control.
Van Sloun will lead an in-person workshop on Tuesday, May 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Minnetonka Community Center. Facemasks are required as part of Minnesota’s COVID-19 social distancing protocols. The session will not be recorded, and registration is limited. Please visit minnetonkamn.gov/nrevents to reserve your spot
