Theft From Vehicles In Minnetonka City Parks

Thieves are targeting vehicles and breaking windows to steal valuables – purses, backpacks, wallets, etc. – that are visible in plain sight.

Minnetonka Police have responded to several incidences of theft from vehicles in Big Willow Park and Lone Lake Park in recent weeks.

Thieves are targeting vehicles and breaking windows to steal valuables – purses, backpacks, wallets, etc. – that are visible in plain sight.

Please do not leave valuables in your vehicle, secure them in the trunk or ensure they’re not in plain sight. Also, lock your vehicle at all times.
