Traverse Co. Seeks Info on Driver of Golf Course Donuts
Authorities say the incident caused "devastating" damage to the course.
The Traverse County Sheriff's Office is seeking information on the person who vandalized Wheaton Golf Course's number one green by driving donuts around it.
Authorities say the incident, which caused "devastating" damage to the course, occurred on the night of Aug. 19. Photos show deep, large tire tracks that completely tore up the grass.
The Wheaton Golf Course is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved, according to a news release.
