4th Minnesota Case Of Coronavirus Confirmed Wednesday

The latest case of COVID-19 is in southern Minnesota, officials confirmed.

OLMSTEAD COUNTY, MN — The fourth case of coronavirus, or COVID-19 as the disease is now known, has been confirmed Wednesday. The latest case is in Olmsted County of southern Minnesota.

The news was released by a Olmsted County health official. The state department of health is planning to release more information on the newest case later Wednesday, reports the Star Tribune.

On Tuesday, the Minnesota Department of Health confirmed the third case of COVID-19. That case is an Anoka County resident in their 30s who was likely exposed through contact with international travelers. The person is in critical condition.
