Deaun Peterson, 77

Deaun Peterson, age 77 of Northfield, passed away Friday evening, March 15, 2013, at Reflections Care Suites on the Three Links Campus in Northfield.

A Celebration of Faith and Vision will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday,  April 2, 2013, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northfield. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Paul; 3 children: Gregory and wife Ann of Decorah, Iowa, Khara and husband Rob Horning of Aspen, Colorado, Timothy of New York City; 2 granddaughters Leah and Halle; 2 sisters-in-law, Bea and husband Barney Friesth of Apple Valley, Miriam and husband Don Haines of Richfield; her aunt, Ione Johnson of Fosston; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John’s Lutheran Church, St. Olaf College, Luther College, Northfield Arts Guild, Northfield Community Action Center or Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota.
