Janet Dunker, 77

Janet E. (Mrs. Oliver) Dunker, age 77, of Faribault, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Reflections on the campus of Three Links, Northfield.

Funeral services will be at Peace Lutheran Church, Faribault, on Friday, February 8, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with the Reverend Robert L. Mundahl officiating. Private interment will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault, at a later date.

Visitation will be held at Peace Lutheran Church on Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.

Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.

Janet E., the daughter of Hugo H. and Cora M. (Meinke) Preuss, was born on October 4, 1935. She graduated from Faribault High School in 1953 and married Oliver "Ollie" A. Dunker on January 19, 1957 in Faribault. Janet was previously employed by Red Owl and Faribault Foods, both of Faribault. She enjoyed and loved to be with family, friends and grandchildren, sewing fleece mittens, quilting, crocheting, flowers and her church family.

Janet is survived by five children, Dianne (and Randy) Piepho, Mark Dunker, all of Faribault, Susan (and Ron) Ketcher of Norwood, Jodi (and Larry) Smith of Elko and Cheryl Deal of New Richmond, WI; 10 grandchildren, Rob (and Amanda Voracek) Armstrong, Justin (and Heidi) Dunker, Brian Dunker (and fiancé Cathy Schneider), Joshua Ketcher, Lindsay (and Nick) Hackman, Kara and Mariah Ketcher, Jacob and Lauren Smith, Natalie Ellingson (and fiancé Justin Fontecchio) and Hannah Deal; two great grandchildren, Adalyn and Bryce Dunker; three sisters, Lola Staley of Waseca, Lorna (and Kenneth) Schmitz of Purlear, NC and Helen Shockley of Salisbury, MD; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie on August 27, 1999; her daughter, Colleen; her parents; her sister, Dolores Pike; her brother, Hugo Preuss, Jr.; and several brothers in law.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Faribault Area Hospice, Reflections of Three Links, Northfield or donor's choice.
