Buy A Tree During Northfield's Annual Shade Tree Sale

The City of Northfield is accepting tree orders for the annual shade tree sale now until April 30, 2021. The city has 103 trees available in 13 species. Most trees will be between 3 to 10 feet tall and one-half to one inch in trunk diameter. Prices range from $79 to $109 per tree. Orders will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis.

Planting is scheduled for May 22. Buyers will pick up a stake to indicate where the tree is to be planted in their yard. A volunteer group will organize and coordinate volunteers to help plant the trees. Tree care instructions will be given to buyers to help the trees thrive.

If you don’t have room on your property or would like to donate a tree, you may donate a tree to a city park.

La ciudad de Northfield está aceptando pedidos de árboles para la venta anual de árboles de sombra desde ahora hasta el 30 de abril de 2021. La ciudad de Northfield dispone de 103 árboles de 13 especies diferentes. La mayoría de los árboles tendrán entre 3 y 10 pies de altura y entre media a una pulgada de diámetro en el tronco.
