Cannon River Flooding Possible In Northfield
Property owners in flood-prone areas should prepare now.

NORTHFIELD, MN — The National Weather Service has placed Northfield in a flash flood watch through Wednesday morning. The predicted storms could bring up to three inches of rain.
If the Cannon River reaches the forecasted level of 896.8 feet, some Northfield properties along the river would be directly affected. Property owners in flood prone areas are urged to evaluate their flood preparedness and monitor weather information and river levels.
