Commissioners Approve 4.48% Property Tax Levy Increase

Here’s a look back at Tuesday’s Rice County Board of Commissioners meeting.

• approved the 2013 budget and property tax levy, which is an increase of 4.48 percent over 2012's levy.
• recognized the retirement of Commissioner Milt Plaisance, who has served on the Rice County Board of Commissioners for 24 years.
