Eric Trump To Speak In Northfield

President Donald Trump's son Eric will travel to Minnesota Tuesday.

NORTHFIELD, MN — President Donald Trump's son Eric will travel to Minnesota Tuesday for a campaign event in Northfield. Eric Trump will speak at Felton Farms.

Doors open for the event at 4:30 p.m. It will start at 5:30 p.m.

The Trump family has made numerous trips to Minnesota this campaign season. The president himself made two visits to the state in September.

Vice President Mike Pence, Ivanka Trump, Lara Trump, and Don Trump Jr. have also made recent visits to Minnesota.

The president has been vocal about how close he came to winning Minnesota in 2016. Minnesota hasn't broken for a Republican presidential candidate since 1972, but Trump lost to Hillary Clinton by less than 45,000 votes. He's said in the past that "one more speech" would have made the difference in 2016.

"Donald Trump nearly won Minnesota in 2016 and he has made it a 'personal challenge' to win it in 2020," Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar wrote in a recent campaign email for Tina Smith.

"Donald Trump thinks he can win Minnesota. We're going to prove him wrong."
