Fire Claims Barn in Bridgewater Township

A barn was a total loss after a fire destroyed it Friday night in Bridgewater Township.

The Northfield Fire Department and Rice County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 12000 block of Cabot Avenue at 7:48 p.m. Friday for the fire. When they arrived, the barn was fully engulfed in flames, according to the Sheriff's Office.

No one was injured in the blaze. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
