Girl, 11, Among The 6 Killed In Wrong-Way Crash: Police
The Eagle family was on their way to a funeral when the fatal collision occurred.

OLMSTED COUNTY, MN — An 11-year-old girl was among the six people killed in an early Friday morning crash on Interstate 90 in southern Minnesota. There were no survivors in the two-car collision, which happened just after 1:30 a.m.
Preliminary reports indicate a Ford Focus was going the wrong-way, heading eastbound, when it struck a Chrysler Sebring heading westbound on I-90 near mile post 223. One of the vehicles caught fire following the crash, police said.
Three occupants were in each car. It is not yet known if alcohol was a factor in the crash, according to authorities.

As the investigation continues, troopers will reconstruct the crash to determine the direction of travel and speed of each vehicle involved.
