Girl, 17, Killed In Red Wing Crash

Three other people, including an 11-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl, suffered non-life threatening injuries in the collision.

RED WING, MN — A 17-year-old girl from Lake City was killed and three other people were injured in a crash in Red Wing Friday. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer was turning to go onto 7th Street from Highway 61. A semi was southbound on Highway 61 when the two vehicles collided, authorities said.

Karina Rosemeri Gonzalez-Baltazar was killed in the crash. The three other occupants of the Mercury, including an 11-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl, suffered non-life threatening injuries. They were treated at St. Mary's Hospital.

The semi driver was not injured in the crash.
