Handel's holiday classic, Messiah (Christmas Edition)
Come see or come sing with the Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra for a glorious performance of Handel's holiday classic, Messiah.
Join the Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra, nationally-renowned guest soloists Linh Kauffman (Soprano), Deesa Staats (Mezzo Soprano),Gary Ruschman (Tenor), and Rodolfo Nieto (Baritone), and a Grand Chorus including the Hymnus choir from New Prague for a glorious performance of Handel’s holiday classic, Messiah (Christmas Edition). This performance will surely be a highlight of your holiday season. Community choristers are welcome to participate, too!
Two performances: Cathedral of our Merciful Saviour, Faribault, at 7:30 pm on Friday, December 11 and at St. Wenceslaus Church, New Prague, 3:00 pm, on Sunday, December 13. Advanced purchase tickets are available online at NorthfieldArtsGuild.org, by calling 507-645-8877, or by stopping at the Northfield Arts Guild, 304 Division St. “Pay-what-you-want” tickets will also be available at the door. Patrons are encouraged to support CVRO through a suggested admission of $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors.
