Haunting Photos, Video From Minnesota's Historic April Snowstorn
These stunning images capture the chaos of the spring snowstorm in an eerie, yet beautiful way.

Minnesota's extreme April winter storm — dubbed the "Thunder Blizzard" by the state's Department of Natural Resources — threw everything from thunderstorms to freezing rain to whiteout conditions.
The blizzard made travel nearly impossible, closing hundreds of miles of freeway across the state. Flights at the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport were grounded for more than seven hours.
There were more than 600 car crashes, close to 1200 spin-outs, and approximately 20 jackknifed semi trailers between April 13 and 16. The storm also caused the 77-foot-high sports dome at the Vadnais Sports Center to collapse.
