Local Voices: Newtown Reaction; Be the Match; Laura Baker Gala

It was a tremendous week as we reached 1,000 posts in the Local Voices section. Those 1,000 posts come from your neighbors and have touched on local politics, tragedy, gardening, nonprofits, the environment and everything in between.

Last week we received three blogs in reaction to the horrific shooting in Newtown, CT; Brenton Balvin chimed in several times with posts about 2012, what he looks forward to in 2013, and a recent donation from Canvas Church to Crisis Pregnancy Center; Northfield High School senior Clara Drew also shared information about the upcoming Be the Match Drive for the National Bone Marrow Registry.
