During this closure, the State will process all remaining transactions in the Minnesota License and Registration System (MNLARS) and the driver services system (FastDS), before converting to the new and improved MNDRIVE system on November 16.
“We know that closing our office temporarily may inconvenience some, but this is an important step to ensure a smooth transition from MNLARS to MNDRIVE,” said Brenda Angelstad, the City of Northfield’s finance director. “We know this has been a bumpy road with the pandemic and this will be a lot of change for our office and our customers in the next few months, and we hope this helps us to be more efficient and effective so customers have an even better experience coming out of this.”
