NORTHFIELD, MN — Make sure to avoid any tricks this Halloween by knowing the curfew rules in Northfield. Police told Patch that normal curfew rules apply on Oct. 31. What are those rules, exactly?
The Northfield curfew ordinance is as follows:
No minor under the age of 16 shall loiter, loaf, or be idle in a public place between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m of the following day. No minor under the age of 18 and over the age of 15 shall loiter, loaf, or be idle in a public place between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 5:00 a.m. of the following day.
- Under 16: Be home by 10:00 p.m.
- Age 16-17: Be home by 12 a.m.
