Northfield Students Chosen for Honors Orchestra
This select group of string players from across the state have earned an invitation to play in the Honors Orchestra (grades 7-9) based on an audition recording of their playing.

Five students from Northfield Middle School and two students from Northfield High School will participate in the 2013 Minnesota String and Orchestra Teachers’ Association (MNSOTA) Middle Level Honors Orchestra. Â

Of the entries made by Northfield Public Schools, Nick Dempsey (viola), Brynne Gray (violin), Cameron Gray (cello), Jane Ludwig (cello), Henry Paton (cello), Maggie Sivanich (cello alternate), Molly Smith (violin) and Irene Stoutland (violin) were chosen. Â

The MNSOTA Middle Level Honors Orchestra will perform on Saturday, February 16 at 11:15 a.m. in the Minneapolis Convention Center in conjunction with the annual Minnesota Music Educators Association Midwinter Clinic.Â
