Northfield's 12th Annual Jingle Bell Run Set for Dec. 14

The 12th annual Northfield Jingle Bell Run is set for Saturday, Dec. 14 and features a 5K run and a 2K run/walk. 

Registation begins at 8 a.m., with both races beginning at 9 a.m. The course takes runners through Northfield's historic downtown and other neighborhood.

The preregistration cost is $8 for youth 10 years and under, $15 for 11 years and older with a $50 family maximum cost. Same-day registration costs are $10 for youth 10 years and under, $20 for 11 years and older, and $50 for a family.

The registration fee includes photos with Santa, a long-sleeved T-shirt for adults, a short-sleeved T-shirt for kids, as well as live music and refreshments. All kids registered for the 2K will also receive a holiday stocking with stocking stuffers waiting near the finish line.

All the fees will go to the Northfield Area Family YMCA. The event is put on by the YMCA with help from Carlson Capital Management.
