NORTHFIELD, MN – July 4th is a little more than a day away, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Northfield so you can start planning now.

Weather Forecast

Keep your fingers crossed for clear skies on Thursday as the current Northfield-area weather forecast calls for a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms during the day and a 40 percent chance in the evening, according to the National Weather Service. The temperature is forecast to peak at 84 degrees.

• 2 p.m. Northfield Knights play Dundas Dukes Baseball (Memorial Park in Dundas)
• 10 p.m. — Fireworks 10 p.m. (Northfield Middle School)

Where To View Fireworks

The City of Northfield recommends the Northfield Middle School parking lot and south fields, Tyler Park, and the fields north of Jefferson Parkway.
