St. Olaf College Theater Department Presents: The Cherry Orchard
Anton Chekhov's final play, being performed at St. Olaf College. Show runs from Nov. 13- Nov. 21

The St. Olaf College Theater Department presents The Cherry Orchard written by Anton Chekhov, translated by Paul Schmidt.
The Cherry Orchard was Chekhov’s final play written and performed in 1904. Chekhov considered it a comedy. It has also been directed as a tragedy. Since the first production directors have had to contend with the dual nature of the play. It concerns the difficulty of change and a family ill equipped to deal with it.
This production will be directed by Gary Gisselman in the Kelsey Theater on the St. Olaf campus. It is reserved seating and tickets are $8.00.
Performances are:
November 13 & 14, 7:30pm
November 15 & 21, 2:00pm
November 19-21, 7:30pm
