Flash flooding is a concern due to the current saturated soil conditions and high river levels, according to a news release.
Hydrologists have predicted the Cannon River in Northfield could easily reach 898 feel or higher depending on rainfall amounts and locations.

Last month, the highest river level reached in Northfield was just over 897 feet.
Businesses and residents in flood prone areas are urged to evaluate their flood preparedness and monitor weather information and river levels.
