UPDATED: Vehicle Overturned on Highway 3

Northfield Police Sgt. Mark Murphy told Patch the occupants of both vehicles were wearing their seat belts and that Highway 3 is completely open following the incident.

Nobody was injured Saturday afternoon after two vehicles collided—causing one vehicle to flip on its side—in the intersection at Jefferson Parkway and Highway 3.

Northfield Police Sgt. Mark Murphy told Patch the occupants of both vehicles were wearing their seat belts and that Highway 3 is completely open following the incident.

"It looked a lot worse than what it is," he said. "Thank God they were wearing their belts."
