
Now that's some rock solid writing: This week, the winners of the 2013 Sidewalk Poetry Contest will be publicly honored at an event in Bridge Square.Â
According to the Northfield News, eight poems will be cemented into sidewalks around the city. This year mark the third year for the contest, which is sponsored by the Northfield Arts and Culture Commission. Since the contest's inception in 2011, 27 poems have made the cut.
The newest selections will be unveiled at Bridge Square on Thursday, Aug. 29, at 7 p.m.Â
