Armstrong Athletes Going To State Competitions
Several Robbinsdale Armstrong High School athletes have made it to state in competitions coming up this week.
Three students are headed to the state meet in their respective sports after strong finishes at their sections over the weekend.
Max Mason finished third at sections in diving for swimming and diving competition and qualified for the state meet on March 1-3 at the University of Minnesota.
Wrestlers (220 pound) and (152 pound) won their sections and will compete at the state Wrestling meet, March 1st – 3rd at the Xcel Center.

Although did not send any individuals to state, the Cooper swim and dive team was named the academic section champions.Â
This honor came on the heels of Cooper’s Academic Pep Fest, which was held on Friday at Cooper High School to recognize student success in all areas academic, including GPA, honors courses, perfect attendance and improvement, among other items.
