Other facts

My family and I have lived in Plymouth since 1971 and I was Plymouth city manager for 21 years. I have been privileged to serve as an at-large council member since 2005.

The Plymouth City Council has demonstrated that by working together we serve the interests of our residents most effectively.  And while we may not always agree on a given issue we agree to disagree with civility. This provides the citizens with local government that can get things done effectively.

I am seeking re-election because Plymouth is headed in the right direction.  As a council member I am pledged to provide:

  • Prudent management of taxpayer resources;
  • Unparalleled public safety services;
  • Preservation of lakes, parks and wetlands;
  • Responsive, responsible and respective Council leadership; and
  • Policies that are concerned about Plymouth today – and tomorrow.

I have been endorsed for re-election by Mayor Slavik, four former Plymouth mayors and many other community members.  It is clear that those who have worked with me as a civic volunteer and council member recognized that I can provide the leadership needed in the years ahead.
