City Of Plymouth Calls For Volunteers To Write Letters Of Appreciation To Veterans

Anyone in the community may participate – drawings, notes and letters of appreciation from all ages will be accepted.

With Veterans Day fast approaching, the City of Plymouth seeks volunteers to write letters of thanks and appreciation to veterans.

Letters must be dropped off by 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6 at Plymouth City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Blvd.

Anyone in the community may participate – drawings, notes and letters of appreciation from all ages will be accepted.

“This is a great opportunity to show support and gratitude to our respected veterans residing here in Plymouth,” said Plymouth Recreation Supervisor Katie Yandell. “We want our veterans to know how much we appreciate their service to this country.”

All letters will be distributed to veterans during the City of Plymouth’s Nov. 10 drive-thru veterans breakfast.
