City Of Plymouth: Plymouth's Summer Beach Event Series Kicks Off June 11

The City of Plymouth kicks off its free Summer Beach Event Series with the all-new Kites Over the Beach event, set for 6 p.m. Friday, June 11 at East Medicine Lake Park, 1740 East Medicine Lake Blvd. Bring your kites to fly or fly one of ours and enjoy beaches in a new way. Free kites, crafts and windsocks will be available while supplies last. Plymouth aquatics staff will be on-site to teach about beach and water safety. Other upcoming Summer Beach Series events include: Water Ski Show, July 13: The beachfront show will feature music, colorful costumes and a variety of water ski entertainment by the Shockwaves Shakopee-Prior Lake Water Ski Team 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13 at Parkers Lake Park, 15205 County Road 6.

Beaches, Burgers and Bands, Aug. 13: Enjoy an evening of live music and grilling on the beach 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 13 at East Medicine Lake Park, 1740 East Medicine Lake Blvd The events are free and open to the public.
