District 281 IB Coordinator Gets International Appointment

According to a Robbinsdale School District press release:

Robbinsdale Middle School International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) coordinator Lauren Hildebrand is a very busy woman, indeed.  In addition to her title as president of the Minnesota Association of International Baccalaureate World Schools, she has been invited to Bethesda, Maryland to work with a small committee to review and revise all global IB workshop guidelines, one of only three MYP practitioners nationwide to be invited.

But not only that, Hildebrand has been nominated as the schools representative from the Americas for the International MYP Committee.  She will serve a two-year term and will work with the IBMYP world heads – the Director of School Services, the Director of Professional Development, three world regional representatives and two other schools representatives.

Hildebrand has brought a wealth of expertise and passion of the IB Programmes to both the Robbinsdale Area Schools and to the state of Minnesota.  The Robbinsdale Middle Years Programme was the first of its kind in the state.
