Falcon View Connections Academy Recognizes Plymouth Student

Student of the Month Award recognizes achievements in and out of the virtual classroom

Julius Charles Nguyen of Plymouth, was recently named one of Falcon View Connections Academy’s (FVCA) Students of the Month in recognition of his achievements and leadership in the virtual classroom.

Julius, a first-grade student at the statewide online school, was nominated by his teacher Mr. Mckie in recognition of his outstanding work and positive attitude in the virtual classroom. As a Student of the Month, Julius will be presented a certificate, recognized in the school’s monthly newsletter, and featured on the school’s social media platforms.

Julius enrolled in Falcon View Connections Academy at the beginning of this year because his parents were concerned the traditional public schools couldn’t effectively educate students as they operated remotely due to the pandemic.

“We found that Julius Charles did quite well with the transition to online school. He does miss the school experience, but we noticed how much more focused he is with this type of curriculum,” his mother Britney said. “He doesn't have the distraction of other kids and he gets the one-on-one attention that has made him so successful.”

Each month during the school year FVCA will recognize students in grades K through 12.
