Students put nearly 3,000 flags along the entry of the school's grounds to recognize those killed on Sept. 11, 2001.

Students at Providence Academy in Plymouth on Wednesday continued their tradition this year by putting nearly 3,000 flags on the school's grounds to recognize and honor those killed in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, according to Channel 12 News.
Quietly students spent a couple hours this past weekend to put the flags up and with each one put up thought about the devastating events and people involved.
Channel 12 News reports that, while the terror attacks were devastating, the students say it made America stronger.
