League of Women Voters Will Host Lake Minnetonka Area School Board Candidate Forums

League of Women Voters Wayzata, Plymouth will be sponsoring the following school board candidate forums in October:

#278 Orono School Board Candidate Forum
Tuesday, October 15, 2013, 7-7:45 p.m.
Location: Orono Middle School Auditorium, 800 Old Crystal Bay Road, Long Lake 55356

Vote for three candidates Candidates: Sarah Borchers, Don Germanson, Bob Tunheim and Martha Van de Ven

#284 Wayzata School Board Candidate Forum
Monday, Oct. 21, 7- 8:30 p.m. Location: Wayzata High School Auditorium, 4955 Peony Lane N., Plymouth 55446

Vote for three candidates Candidates: Andrea Cuene, Derek Diesen, Dan Haugen, Sarah Johansen, David Lloyd, Chris McCullough, Phil Napier, Bill Pritchard and Ted Victor

#277 Westonka School Board Candidate Forum
Wednesday, October 23, 2013, 7-7:45 p.m. Location: Mound Westonka High School Auditorium, 5905 Sunnyfield Road East, Minnetrista 55364

Vote for three candidates Candidates: Loren Davis, Gina Smith, Pete Wiechert and Gary Wollner

The public is invited to attend. Written questions will be taken from the audience. You may also submit questions via email up until 3 pm on the forum day to lwvwayzataplymouthmn@gmail.com.

Arrangements for video are being made with the local school school districts, Northwest Community Cable, Channel 12, for residents of #284 Wayzata and LMCC, Channel 21, for residents of #278 Orono and #277 Westonka School Districts.
