Letter: Supports Plymouth Council Incumbent Candidates

Plymouth residents write in their support of the incumbents running for re-election on the City Council.

To the Editor:

Politics in our country have taken on a seemingly unrelentingly polarized and negative tone. One notable exception is the spirit of teamwork and collegiality on the Plymouth City Council. This is obviously a group of individuals genuinely committed to the betterment of our community. The campaign run by the incumbents running for reelection – Jim Willis, Bob Stein, Judy Johnson and Jeff Wosje - has been focused on the issues – civil and positive.

In contrast, the campaign of the opposing candidate for City Council At Large has been marked by sarcastic innuendo, smear tactics and no actual insight into what he stands for. He has failed to participate in multiple opportunities to share his views with voters, and suggests that the experience of the incumbents is a liability rather than an asset. These voters strongly disagree.
