Mark Ritchie To Speak At Robbinsdale Schools MLK Day Event
Robbinsdale School District presents the "We Have A Dream" event 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at Robbinsdale Cooper High School.

Though many schools have the day off, the Robbinsdale School District will hold an event for Martin Luther King Jr. Day today.
According to a Robbinsdale School District press release:
The event is called "We Have A Dream" and runs 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Robbinsdale Cooper High School in New Hope.

The Cooper In Action group is hosting a day of service where Secretary of State Mark Ritchie will be a special guest. At the beginning of the day Ritchie will be interviewed by students and business community members in the school's auditorium.
The schedule for the event includes the following:

• 10 to 11 a.m.: Interview with Secretary of State Ritchie in the Cooper Auditorium, description of Cooper in Action, awards for service and entertainment.
• 11 a.m. to noon: Breakout sessions, which include sessions on bullying, peer coaching, depression and students in action.
• noon to 12:30 p.m.: A card making service project where all attendees will write cards for the Northridge and Children's Hospital.
