Survived by children Betty Jo Twitchell, Thomas (Sandy), Kathy (Randy) Goodman, Sue (Ken) Rasmusson, Walter, Patty, and Alice (Wayne) Junes; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brother James Leach; brother-in-law Richard (Barb) Etnier; many nieces, nephews and friends.Â
Joe joined the Fr. George Council K of C in 1959 and the 4th Degree Nicollet Assembly in 1979, serving as a Past Faithful Navigator. He was one of two remaining charter members of St. Mary of the Lake Parish.Â

Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.Â
Service was Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at The Church of St. Mary of the Lake, 105 North Forestview Lane, Plymouth.
