Plymouth 'Jazz Impressions' Event Features Music, Wine and More

The event is Friday, Oct. 25, and is for adults only or those age 18 or older.

The city of Plymouth and Plymouth Arts Council will host "Jazz Impressions" from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at the Plymouth Creek Center Black Box Theater, 14800 34th Ave. in Plymouth.

This adult-only evening of fine jazz will feature the jazz group Shoop!, comprised of five seasoned vocalists. Chocolate, wine and other beverages will be for sale during intermission.

Shoop! consists of sopranos Lou Ann Henderson and Amy Olson, alto Karen Sullivan, tenor John Sturtz and bassist Geoff Thompson. The vocalists have performed individually throughout the Twin Cities in local groups such as Harmonic Relief, 5th Avenue and the Minnesota Zephyr Cabaret Singers. In Shoop!, the five vocal talents are blended into fresh, complex harmonies with depth and range.
