Plymouth P.D. Blotter: Public Urination, Juvenile Pot Possession and DWI Arrests

The following are a selection of notable incidents responded to by the Plymouth Police Department between April 19 and April 24. Not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity.

Burglary

A resident on the 1800 block of Kilmer Lane reported pry marks on her lower level doors April 20. It is not believed entry into the home was gained, and no loss was reported.

A victim on the 5500 block of Hwy. 160 reported a toolbox valued at $150 missing from a storage facility. A lock was cut to gain access.

Controlled Substance

Plymouth police cited a 16-year-old student for possession of drug paraphernalia April 19 after observing him throw a marijuana pipe in a garbage can when confronted by staff.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious occupied car in a driveway on the 2200 block of Urbandale Lane North April 22 and cited three 17-year-old juveniles for possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 16-year-old juvenile was cited for curfew violation and possession of a controlled substance April 21 after responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 300 block of Vicksburg Lane.

Counterfeit

A counterfeit $20 bill was used at a gas station April 24 on the 12600 block of Bass Lake Road.

DWI

A 34-year-old Plymouth woman was arrested for DWI April 20 after officers responded to a report of a driving complaint. The vehicle was located near the intersection of Hwy. 55 and I-494. The arrest occurred just before 4:30 p.m.

A 41-year-old Minnetonka man was arrested April 19 after police responded to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection on Hwy. 55 and Plymouth Boulevard. Initial field sobriety tests indicated a blood alcohol level of .22.

A 51-year-old Richfield man was arrested April 19 following a routine traffic stop on the 1100 block of Fernbrook Lane North. Initial field sobriety tests indicated a blood alcohol level of .24.

A 24-year-old Plymouth man was arrested April 21 after police responded to a report of an impaired driver on the 17100 block of Medina Road. Initial field sobriety tests indicated a blood alcohol level of .25.

Fleeing

Police arrested a 22-year-old Plymouth man just after 10 p.m. April 24 after he ran from police on the 14300 block of 34th Avenue North. The suspect had multiple warrants for his arrest and was transported to jail.

Indecent Exposure

Formal charges are pending following the arrest of a male suspect observed urinating between two parked cars April 20 on the 4100 block of Berkshire Lane North.
