Plymouth Sings Seeks Best Vocalists To Compete At State Level

Plymouth Sings seeks the best vocalists in town to compete for prizes and potentially represent the community at the statewide Minnesota Sings competition.
To be eligible, singers must live, work or attend school in Plymouth. The competition features two age groups:

- 13-20 years old
- 21 and older
Due to COVID-19, this year’s event will be held virtually. Plymouth Sings winners will move on to Minnesota Sings, which will also be held virtually.
Audition Videos Accepted Through July 24
Contestants must submit an audition video to enter the 2020 Plymouth Sings competition. The deadline to submit an audition video is Friday, July 24.
A panel of judges will review the videos and select Plymouth Sings finalists, as well as the winners who will advance to Minnesota Sings. All Plymouth Sings finalists will receive prizes.

Watch Virtual Plymouth Sings Finals Aug. 12
The public is invited to watch the virtual Plymouth Sings Finals, which will be televised and streamed at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12 on Channel 799, Cable Channel 12 in the northwest suburbs and online at ccxmedia.org.
The virtual event will feature the audition videos of Plymouth Sings finalists, as well interviews with the winners. Winning vocalists’ videos will advance to Minnesota Sings to be reviewed by a panel of judges and added to the Minnesota Sings YouTube channel.
Minnesota Sings finalists will be awarded cash prizes in each age group – $3,000 for first place, $2,000 for second place and $1,000 for third place. Visit minnesotasings.com for more information.
