Opening of Plymouth Yard Waste Drop Off Site Delayed Further

The Yard Waste Site is available to Plymouth residents only—identification is required

Information provided by the City of Plymouth:

The opening of the Plymouth Yard Waste Drop Off Site, 14900 23rd Ave. N., will be further delayed. The yard waste site will open on Sat., April 13. This is the second time the opening has been delayed. The new opening date is contingent upon weather and the condition of the site. 

When the site opens, yard waste will be accepted Wednesdays through Sundays. April hours are Wed. – Fri., 3 - 6 p.m., and Sat. - Sun, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Hours of operation will be extended starting in May. The site is closed on Mondays and Tuesday throughout the season.

The Yard Waste Site is available to Plymouth residents only – identification is required. Residents may dispose of spring lawn rakings, leaves, vegetative garden waste and brush/tree waste. Materials that are not accepted include grass clippings, lumber, sod and soil.

If winter-like weather persists or conditions at the site are unsuitable for traffic, the opening may be delayed past April 13. To verify that the site is open before making a trip, residents can check the city website at plymouthmn.gov or call763-509-5950.
