Rider Alert: Plymouth Metrolink Resumes Fares On Buses Beginning August 1
Fares will be collected on all Metrolink buses effective August 1.

Plymouth Metrolink will join other metro-area transit services in resuming fare collection that had temporarily been suspended due to COVID-19. Fares will be collected on all Metrolink buses effective Saturday, Aug. 1.

Driver barriers will be installed on buses as another level of safety in addition to other measures taken by Metrolink in response to COVID-19.
Increased Safety Measures
Safety continues to be paramount in Plymouth Metrolink operations. Throughout stages of the pandemic, Metrolink has implemented a range of safety measures across the system, including:

- Temperature checks and evaluations are given to drivers as they report to work
- Buses are disinfected after each use
- Additional disinfecting measures have been implemented at all facilities
- Cabin air filters have been installed on all buses
- The number of riders allowed on 40-foot buses has been limited to 10
- The number of riders allowed on smaller buses has been limited to three
- Drivers are required to wear masks
- Passengers are encouraged to wear masks
- Masks are available for passengers who do not have one
